Ridge Muse is a fictional fashion-and-beauty magazine imprint built as a redesigned newsstand cover system: a high-contrast black-and-white portrait cover with an original golden-yellow RIDGE MUSE masthead, Soft Gloss Issue hierarchy, and stacked cover-line energy (Soft Glow Edit / Atelier Lip Ritual / Runway Soft Notes) — never BEAUTY masthead clones, celebrity marks, phones, emails, QR codes, or Instagram handles. We staged the magazine cover as print-media hero, then floated lipstick, powder brush, pearl earrings, petals, and perfume atomizer outside the cover with exterior badges for Editorial Cover System, B&W Portrait Energy, Cover-Line Stack, and Newsstand Ready so the collection tile reads as premium editorial print theatre, clearly distinct from hang-tag and bakery brochure neighbours.

Problem statement

Fashion magazine cover boards often lock real masthead trademarks (BEAUTY), clone cover-line stacks as-is, and barren white crops into portfolio decks. The brief needed an original fictional imprint, redesigned yellow-masthead cover hierarchy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle print poster with floating props and external typography — print media, not product packaging.

Solution

We invented Ridge Muse, rebuilt hierarchy around RIDGE MUSE → Soft Gloss Issue → Soft Glow Edit cover-line stack, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle print poster: magazine cover as hero, floating beauty props, and Yellow Mast. Soft Cover. margin callouts outside the print face. Custom-design and print-media tags mark the work for collection filters; artwork forced to precisely 1080×1080 with no BEAUTY masthead identity or watermark text.
