Description

Ash & Spoon is a fictional Central Asian–inspired dinner house built as a redesigned soups menu print system: a matte-black chalkboard page with amber Menu / SOUPS hierarchy, five appetizing bowl photographs, English soft-price lines (Hearth Rice Broth / Silk Pocket Dumplings / Pepper Nest Noodles / Garden Stuff Pot / Ridge Bone Stew), and hand-drawn arrow connectors — never Mastava/Chuchvara/Lagman lockups as client identity, Korean clone body copy, phones, emails, QR codes, or Instagram handles. We staged the menu page as print-media hero, then floated parsley, cherry tomatoes, lemon, chili, and pepper outside the page with exterior badges for Soups Menu Layout, Chalkboard Lifestyle, Ingredient Theatre, and Dinner Service Ready so the collection tile reads as dark lifestyle food-print theatre, clearly distinct from bakery trifolds and magazine covers shipping in parallel.

Problem statement

Restaurant soups menu boards often lock real dish trademarks and cloned chalkboard layouts into portfolio decks, or collapse into barren white food crops. The brief needed an original fictional restaurant, redesigned dark soups menu hierarchy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle print poster with floating props and external typography — print media, not product packaging.

Solution

We invented Ash & Spoon, rebuilt hierarchy around Menu / SOUPS → five original English soup lines → Soft Taste footer, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle print poster: menu page as hero, floating ingredient props, and Dark Board. Soft Broth. margin callouts outside the print face. Custom-design and print-media tags mark the work for collection filters; artwork forced to precisely 1080×1080 with no third-party restaurant identity or watermark text.
