Client Linoire Atelier

Description

Linoire Atelier is a fictional contemporary fashion label built around a layered ribbon hang-tag system. We redesigned kraft-brown and cream rectangular card pairs of staggered lengths — each secured with white braided string and a plastic snap fastener — paired with long satin ribbons carrying an original sewing-machine line icon and vertical serif copy (Crafted / Finished / Detail / Made to Move on kraft; Stitch / Quality / Wear / Everyday Elegance on cream). Face cards carry original Linoire Atelier and Linoire Collection lock-ups instead of reference magazine marks. We staged a wooden thread spool, brass button, linen fabric scrap, and sewing needle outside the tags with exterior badges for Layered Cards, Satin Ribbon Detail, and Snap-Fastener Finish so the collection tile reads as premium fashion print theatre, distinct from kidswear petal tags, nursery cultivar labels, and packaging packshots.

Design storytelling

From brief to designed solution

Kraft-and-cream warmth as the boutique signal: staggered dual cards, satin ribbon swallowtails, and fine-line sewing-machine iconography as the craft cue — but invent Linoire as the brand world with original vertical ribbon copy (not VOGUE or NEW FASHION clone language). Outside the dielines, thread spool, button, linen scrap, and margin callouts lift a hang-tag duo into a square enriched print-media poster without third-party fashion magazine marks or designer watermarks.

Fashion hang tags often clone familiar magazine-style VOGUE typography and layered kraft-and-cream ribbon formulas from reference moodboards, or collapse into flat dieline sheets that hide the tactile ribbon story. The brief needed an original fictional fashion brand, redesigned dual-card ribbon tag system with original copy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with sewing props and external typography — no VOGUE, no Condé Nast, no NEW FASHION identity.

We invented Linoire Atelier, rebuilt hierarchy around Linoire wordmark → collection subline → ribbon vertical craft copy, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating spool, button, and fabric props plus margin callouts. Custom-design, print-media, and stationery tags mark the work for collection filters.
