Description
Tearthread is a fictional eco stationery and slow-goods brand built around layered retail hang tags. We redesigned a beige textured branding card with an original twin-leaf sprout icon, Tearthread serif wordmark, and woven from earth tagline — stacked over a white under-card and a coarse burlap base with a natural hemp twine loop — instead of cloning a generic Natural Brand reference. We staged floating dried botanical sprigs, a coiled jute twine bundle, cork accent, and seed pods outside the tags with exterior badges for Recycled Paper Stock, Jute & Twine Finish, and Botanical Retail Touch so the collection tile reads as earthy print-media theatre, distinct from kidswear petal tags, sage nursery cultivar tags, and packaging packshot neighbours.

Ideation concept
Tan-and-cream recycled-paper warmth as the eco signal: three-layer tag stack (branding card + white spacer + burlap) with twine as the tactile craft cue, and a minimal twin-leaf mark replacing reference grid-leaf art. Outside the dielines, botanical sprigs, twine coil, and margin callouts — Tearthread / Layered Eco Hang Tags / Thoughtful details. Naturally better. — lift a simple tag set into a square enriched print-media poster without NATURAL BRAND wordmarks or third-party studio watermarks.
Problem statement
Eco hang tags often clone beige Natural Brand layouts with identical grid-leaf icons and generic sans-serif wordmarks, or collapse into flat dieline sheets that hide the jute-and-twine tactile story. The brief needed an original fictional eco brand, redesigned three-layer tag system with original mark and tagline, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with botanical props and external typography — no NATURAL BRAND identity, no @carismadesignstudio watermark.
Solution
We invented Tearthread and the layered eco hang-tag system, rebuilt hierarchy around twin-leaf mark → Tearthread wordmark → woven from earth tagline → jute base, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating botanical and twine props plus margin callouts. Custom-design, print-media, and stationery tags mark the work for collection filters; artwork forced to precisely 1080×1080.
