Description

Khandora is a fictional artisanal spice house for Premium Garam Masala — a resealable stand-up pouch built for warm kitchen ritual and pantry pride. We redesigned a terracotta doypack with sage botanical vine-lattice pattern, spaced spice-rosette accents, illustrated cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, and cloves on-face, and a cream central label with serif GARAM MASALA lockup plus filigree — then staged floating whole spices, a brass scoop, and stone mortar outside the pack with margin badges so the collection tile reads as complete spice theatre, clearly distinct from Mirava’s maroon heritage carton system and any reference mandala-clone layout.

Design storytelling

From brief to designed solution

Warm depth as the story: terracotta pouch hero with sage vine lattice (not dense mandala tile clone), cream filigree label, and whole-spice illustrations. Outside the dieline, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, star anise, cloves, brass scoop, mortar, and bay leaves float with exterior lines — Warm Depth. True Blend., Whole Spice Freshness, Heirloom Roast, Kitchen Ritual Ready — in Colgate-style enriched poster composition without Mirava or third-party spice trademark language.

Garam masala pouches often clone dense mandala collage references or sit as bare pack-on-beige crops that hide appetite cues — and portfolio walls already carry Mirava as a maroon heritage carton neighbour. The brief needed an original fictional spice brand, redesigned stand-up pouch hierarchy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating props and external typography — category-aligned but visually and narratively distinct from Mirava.

We invented Khandora, rebuilt hierarchy around KHANDORA → GARAM MASALA → Stone Ground · 100g, redesigned a vine-lattice terracotta pouch with cream filigree label, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle packshot: floating whole-spice props and margin callouts outside the pouch. Packaging, mockup-presentation, and brand-suite tags mark the work for collection filters; Mirava slug and assets untouched.
