Description
Daalora is a fictional grocery pulses house for a three-SKU unpolished dal range — Moong, Toor, and Urad — in 5kg family stand-up pouches. We redesigned white glossy doypacks with color-coded top bands, circular lentil windows, UNPOLISHED variety hierarchy, vertical ORGANIC and Net Weight 5kg side marks, and an original rural sunrise farm illustration across the base — not a KING KISSAN clone — then staged loose moong and toor lentils, antique brass bowls, a wooden scoop, curry leaves, and dried chili outside the trio with exterior badges for Unpolished & Whole, 5kg Family Pack, Organic Certified, and Color-Coded Range so the collection tile reads as complete Indian grocery CPG theatre.

Ideation concept
Color-coded dal clarity as the shelf signal: green moong, orange toor, black urad top bands with circular window honesty and shared Daalora serif lock-up plus दालोरा Devanagari. Outside the dielines, brass bowls, wooden scoop, scattered lentils, and margin headline Farm-Fresh Pulses. with benefit badges lift a three-pack grocery still into a Colgate-style enriched 1:1 lifestyle poster without KING KISSAN, KISSAN, or किंग किसान trademark language.
Problem statement
Unpolished dal pouches often clone legacy farm-brand landscape art, circular window layouts, and Hindi-English lock-ups that read as competitor identity on portfolio boards. The brief needed an original fictional pulses brand, a redesigned three-SKU pouch system with readable English hierarchy and organic side marks, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating kitchen props and external typography — clearly distinct from rice, salt, jam, and oat-milk packshot neighbours.
Solution
We invented Daalora, rebuilt hierarchy around DAALORA → दालोरा → UNPOLISHED → variety name with color-coded top bands and circular windows, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle packshot: floating lentils, brass bowls, scoop, and margin callouts outside the trio. Packaging, mockup-presentation, and brand-suite tags mark the work for collection filters; industries fmcg and food-beverage; artwork forced to precisely 1080×1080 with no KING KISSAN or KISSAN text.
