White P-window pulse pouches with color-coded bands, floating dal props, and Pantry Staples callouts.

Client Pulsa

Description

Pulsa is a fictional pantry-staples house for an Everyday Pulses Trio — resealable stand-up pouches of toor/chana split dal, whole masoor, and whole moong. We redesigned a white-hero doypack language with a large serif P clear-window letter (brand initial, not a cloned g-cutout), color-coded green, orange-gold, and dusty-rose bottom bands matching each pulse, PURE & READY seals, and PANTRY STAPLES hierarchy — then staged wooden scoop, cooked-dal bowl, loose dals, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, and curry leaves outside the packs with Everyday pulses. Clearly seen. margin callouts so the collection tile reads as complete FMCG pulse theatre, clearly distinct from pale-blue rice and green poha neighbours.

Design storytelling

From brief to designed solution

See-through staples as the story: white pouch heroes with bold P die-cut windows, color-coded lower bands for SKU scanning, and serif PULSA wordmarks. Outside the dieline, dal scoop, cooked bowl, spices, and leaves float with margin badges — Window-Fresh Dal · Color-Coded Trio · Toor · Masoor · Moong · Kitchen Ready — in Colgate-style enriched poster composition without supermarket own-brand or GROZI-style g-window clones.

Pulse and dal pouches often either lock third-party supermarket wordmarks and lowercase letter windows into portfolio boards, or collapse into bare grey-floor packshots that hide kitchen proof. The brief needed an original fictional pantry brand, redesigned trio dieline with a brand-initial window letter (not a cloned g), readable English hierarchy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating props and external typography — category-distinct from Grainelle rice and Sattvora poha.

We invented Pulsa, rebuilt hierarchy around PULSA → PANTRY STAPLES → color-coded P-window trio for Toor/Chana split, Masoor whole, and Moong whole, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle packshot: floating dal, spice, and bowl props with margin callouts outside the pouches. Packaging, mockup-presentation, and brand-suite tags mark the work for collection filters; industries fmcg and food-beverage.
