Black textured tart carry box with cream die-cut handle sleeve, floating pastry props, and Carry the Crust. callouts.
Client Liftora
Description
Liftora is a fictional boutique tart atelier built as a redesigned black-and-cream carry packaging system: a square matte-black horizontally ribbed gift box wrapped in a tall cream paper sleeve with rectangular die-cut handle, large wraparound LIFTORA wordmark, repeating mini-tart line pattern on the black board, and an original hand-drawn person joyfully lifting a strawberry tart slice on the sleeve face — plus fictional @liftora.carry handle cue. We staged whole berry tarts, a plated tart slice with fork, strawberries, blueberries, mint, vanilla pod, ribbon scrap, and a ceramic espresso cup outside the pack with margin badges for Die-Cut Handle, Black & Cream Atelier, Gift Tart Carry, and Slice-Ready Box so the collection tile reads as stark premium pastry-carry theatre, clearly distinct from Taste The Tarte identity, Doucevra slide-out tartlette sleeves, Bordora cannelé café gift boxes, Tartovia pastel drawer trios, and Scoovelle pistachio tart pints shipping in parallel.

From brief to designed solution
Ideation concept
Keep square black textured box + cream vertical die-cut handle sleeve, large wraparound wordmark, whimsical person-lifting-tart line art, repeating mini-tart pattern, and IG-style handle cue as the concept — but invent Liftora as the brand spine with Carry the Crust. storytelling and original character illustration (never Taste The Tarte / TASTE THE TARTE / @tastethetart). Outside the dieline, floating tart/berry/café props plus exterior callouts lift the single carry box into a Colgate-style enriched 1080 lifestyle poster without third-party bakery trademarks or studio watermarks.
Problem statement
Boutique tart carry-box boards often lock real brand names (Taste The Tarte), cloned cream-sleeve character art and @tastethetart chrome, and barren pack-on-cream crops into portfolio decks. The brief needed an original fictional tart-carry brand, redesigned black/cream sleeve-handle system as hero, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with floating props and external typography — distinct from Doucevra cream slide-sleeve tartlettes, Bordora cannelé gift cubes, Tartovia matchbox drawers, and Scoovelle tart-pint neighbours shipping in parallel.
Solution
We invented Liftora, rebuilt hierarchy around LIFTORA wraparound → cream die-cut handle sleeve → original tart-lift line illustration → mini-tart pattern → @liftora.carry, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle packshot: carry box as hero, floating tart/berry/café props, and Carry the Crust. / Die-Cut Handle / Black & Cream Atelier margin callouts outside the dieline. Packaging and snacks/FMCG tags mark the work for collection filters; artwork forced to precisely 1080×1080 with no Taste The Tarte, @tastethetart, or watermark text; Doucevra / Bordora / Tartovia pastry slugs untouched.
