Aethmist Ultrasonic Diffuser Carton

Aethmist Ultrasonic Diffuser Carton

Minimal white diffuser carton with side feature panel, floating botanicals, and Quiet Room Ritual callouts.

Client Aethmist

Description

Aethmist is a fictional home-wellness brand for Pure Mist, an ultrasonic room diffuser. We redesigned a tall matte-white rectangular carton with clean black sans-serif hierarchy, a photoreal diffuser hero on the front, and a disciplined side feature panel with timer, droplet, and quiet-mode icons — then staged amber oil vials, eucalyptus sprigs, lavender stems, ceramic pebble, and soft mist droplets outside the pack with exterior lines for Quiet Room Ritual, 360° Mist Coverage, Whisper-Quiet Mode, and Essential-Oil Ready so the collection tile reads as calm tech-lifestyle theatre, clearly distinct from Korvane reed-diffuser and vanity perfume neighbours.

Design storytelling

From brief to designed solution

Clinical calm as the shelf signal: white carton, black type, hero product render on the face, icon-led side panel — but invent Aethmist as the brand world with Pure Mist subline and Ultrasonic Diffuser descriptor. Outside the dieline, botanicals, oil vials, mist wisps, and margin callouts lift a three-quarter studio box into a square enriched portfolio poster.

Ultrasonic diffuser cartons often clone the same white-box-plus-device-render formula or keep third-party home-fragrance trademarks as portfolio clients. The brief needed an original fictional brand, redesigned minimalist carton with side feature panel energy, and a square 1080 enriched lifestyle poster with essential-oil props and external typography — distinct from reed-diffuser twin sets and niche perfume pieces.

We invented Aethmist, rebuilt hierarchy around wordmark → Pure Mist → diffuser hero → Ultrasonic Diffuser, and validated an exactly 1080×1080 enriched lifestyle packshot with floating botanicals, oil vials, and margin callouts outside the carton. Packaging and home-fragrance tags mark the work for collection filters.
